Marion Sybil (1925-1993) was a daughter of Rev Murdo Smith and Margaret Williamina Matheson, Broadford, Isle of Skye. She was a twin of Kenneth Donald and their mothed died hours after their birth.
Her father died in 1936 and she and Kenneth Donald were brought up by her Uncle Alexander Smith and Aunts, Marion and Johanna at 31 Leurbost.
In Aberdeen, in 1950, she married John Laird from Aberdeen. The couple settled in Wales.
