Nellie (1939-2022) was a daughter of Neil Macdonald Maclean and Kennethina Macritchie, 7 Glenside, Gravir. She worked in hotels in Ullapool, Glasgow, Pitlochry, Carrbridge, Inverness and Nairn.
At Inverness, in 1965, she married Robert Alexander Moir from Nairn. The couple lived in Clephanton and they had a family. They later settled in Nairn.
Nellie was widowed in 2011.
