1361: Murdo Macleod

Murdo (born 1866) was a son of Donald Macleod and Catherine Morrison, 17 Uigen. He was a blacksmith (one of two on the Valtos peninsula) and had his smithy at Miavaig, near the entrance to Glen Valtos.

In 1894 he married Ann Smith, 2 Earshader. The couple lived at 17 Uigen and they had seven children.
