1631: Angus Macdonald

Aonghas Aonghais Bhig

Angus (1893-1971) was a son of Angus Macdonald and Ann Macdonald, 4 Lundale.

In 1926 he married Catherine Mackay, 5 Crulivig. When Linshader was lotted, Angus was allocated No3 and he built a house there in 1927.  Angus exchanged croft and home with his brother-in-law, Murdo Mackay, 2 Earshader in 1935.

Angus and Catherine had five daughters.

Angus's nickname Adhabh/Adam refers to the fact that he was the first child born in Lundale after it was lotted.
