Donald (c1765-1831) was a son of Neil Maconald and Catherine Macaulay, Drovinish.
He married Isabella Macaulay who was his first cousin. Donald and Isabella lived at Drovinish and they had two daughters.
Donald was widowed and married Ann Maclennan the daughter of Donald Maclennan the tacksman at Reef. Donald and Ann had ten children.
Donald succeeded his father as tacksman of Little Bernera. He died in Little Bernera in 1831 and is buried there.
He shared the rental of Little Bernera with his father in 1807and in 1819 only his name appears.
