2258: Malcolm Nicolson

Calum Aonghais Chaluim

Malcolm (1877-1953) was a son of Angus Nicolson and Isabella Macaskill, 10 Gravir. His father died in 1880 and his mother in 1884. Malcolm and his two siblings went to live with their maternal grandparents at 26 Gravir. Prior to his marriage he was living at 16 Queen Street, Inverness/

At Annfield Road, Inverness, in 1909, he married Marion Morrison, 41 Borve. Malcolm and Marion moved between Lewis and Inverness. In 1909 their son, Angus was born at 41 Borve and in 1911 the family were living at 11 Queen Street, Inverness when their daughter, Marion was born.

Malcolm was widowed in 1941 and died aged 75 at 8 Canada Crescent, Stornoway.
