Mary Ann (1909-1983) was a daughter of Donald Mackay and Isabella Macarthur from 4 Crulivig. After Garynahine was lotted her family moved to No 3. She was the District Nurse in Balallan from 1944 to 1949 but resigned her post after her marriage to Donald Macdonald from 52b Balallan. They settled at 51b Balallan where they raised one daughter.
