28662: Kenneth Mackenzie

Kennneth, son of Colin Mackenzie and Catherine Munro, Tollie, Fodderty, moved from 65 Balallan to become a Police Constable in 1872 when the police residence was built but he resigned later that year. Kenneth originally came from Ayrshire and moved to Balallan c1870. He married Janet Matheson from Balnain, Urray and had five children: Colin (1861); Alex (1864); Catherine (1866); Betsy (1868) and Donald (1870).
