28759: Alexander Ferguson
Alexander Ferguson (1910-1991) son of Ewen Ferguson and Catherine Morrison, 30 Laxay served with the Seaforth Highlanders during the Second World War. He was transferred to the Royal Engineers, serving in the UK, Europe and the Far and Middle East. He married Ellen Florence Blackman, England and returned to Lewis, living at 85 Plasterfield.
