29136: Allan Macleod
Allan (1811-1901) was a son of Neil Macleod and Mary Morrison, Keose. He was the Sitting Tenant at Croft 2 Caverstay and his tenant was his future father-in-law, Neil Macleod.
In Lochs, in 1838, he married Margaret Macleod, 2 Caverstay and in 1841 the couple were living at 2 Caverstay. Allan and Margaret settled at 2 Ranish and they had nine children.
Allan was widowed in 1893.
