40399: Roderick Mackenzie
Roderick, son of George Mackenzie and Margaret Martin, 46 Balallan was a General Merchant in the village. He was, along with Donald Macrae, the co-leader of the Park Deer Raid of 1887 and was one of the six men taken for trial in Edinburgh. Roderick married Margaret Mackinnon, 43 Balallan. He later married Isabella Montgomery, 56 Balallan in 1881.
