45004: Murdo Ferguson
Murdo Ferguson (1823-1902) was a son of Angus Ferguson and his second wife, Margaret Smith, 2 Crulivig.
Murdo originally moved to Southern Pairc to work as a shepherd.
In Lochs, in 1853, he married widow Christina Nicolson, nee Macmillan, 4 Lemreway. They lived for a short time in Steimreway (where Catherine was born) and then Crulivig (where Angus was born) but they settled at 3 Lemreway. The couple had eleven children.
Murdo was widowed in 1896 and died of Dropsy aged 78.
