45257: Malcolm Smith

Calum Angus Murdo

Malcolm (born 1785) was a son of Angus Smith and Barbara Macleod, 13 Habost and formerly of Eishken. His father was tenant of  the Tack for Habost and Cleitir 

Malcolm married Mary Mackenzie and they lived at Cleitir. The couple had seven children. The family came to 60 Old Balallan after Cleitir had been cleared in 1840. 60 Old Balallan became 65 Balallan 

The family were evicted from  65 Balallan in the mid 1850s.  After his eviction Malcolm may possibly have gone to live with his son Angus at 50 Balallan.
