Malcolm (1905-1990) was a son of John Murray and Catherine Morrison, 44 South Bragar. He was the headteacher in Tong school from 1943 to 1971.

He married Catherine Ann Mackay, 15 Valtos. Malcolm and Catherine Ann settled in Tong and they had a family.
