Anna Chaluim Dhomhnaill
Ann (1826-1891) was the daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Mary Macaulay, Isle of Harris. In 1830 the family moved 4 Old Doune Carloway.
In Doune Carloway, in 1848, she married Murdo Macdonald, 8 Old Doune Carloway. Ann and Murdo were cottars at 4 Old Doune Carloway and when the village was cleared in 1853 the couple moved to 22 Valtos. Ann and Murdo had five children.
Her mother, Mary (born 1793) – a shoemaker's widow, was living with the family in 1861.
