Murdo (1877-1961) was a son of Angus Mackay and his second wife, Ann Mcleod, 30 Valtos.
In Uig, in 1934, he married Johanna Matheson, 29 Valtos. Murdo and Johanna lived at 30 Valtos and they raised three children.
Murdo was one of the Reef Raiders in 1913.
