Norman (1839-1923) was a son of Malcolm and Ann Macleod, 2 Old Orinsay.
Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 13 Crossbost.
At Crossbost, in 1870, he married Ann Macleod, 48 Leurbost. Norman and Ann settled at 13 Crossbost and they had six children.
Norman was widowed in 1912.
