55403: Angus Martin

Angus, son of John Martin and Mary Smith, 48 Balallan emigrated to South America in 1895. He worked with two Germans, Curtze and Wahlen, to establish the Estancia of Las Horquetas, south of Lago. He bought the Estancia "Chali Aike" about 100 miles from Rio Gallegos in Chile in 1907. He may have been married to an Ann Ritchie from Perth.
