Donald Macleod (1806-1845) was the first tenant of 22 Balallan.
In Lochs, in 1834, he married Marion Macleod, 11 Cromore. Donald and Marion lived at 22 Balallan and they had five children. In 1841 there was a Christina Macleod living with the family who may have been his mother.
Donald died aged 39.
