58082: Donald Macaulay
Donald (son of Donald the tacksman in Carnish) was married to Katherine Macqueen and raised four children; Aeneas, Donald, Archibald and Alice.
Whilst in Skye he is on record as tacksman of Totarder;
He graduated from Edinburgh university in 1692 and was appointed parish schoolmaster in Dingwall 29-05-1695, but stayed there only one year before taking up duties as chaplain. He was ordained to Kilmuir in 22-02-1700; translated to Bracadale in 1708 where he stayed until his death in 1748.
