Malcolm William (1895-1970) was the youngest child of John Mackay and Christina Maclean, 4 Crulivig.

He married in Glasgow to Marion Macdonald from 7 Ballantrushall. The couple lived in Glasgow and raised four children.

 Malcolm was widowed in 1954 and later married  Katie Bell Macleod from Carloway.
