Mary (1855-1891) was a daughter of John Smith and Isabella Morrison, 2 Old Garynahine. In the1860s the family moved to new croft, 35 Callanish.

She married  George Mackay, 34 Callanish. Mary and George lived at 34 Callanish and they had four children.

Mary died aged 36 years.
