Donald (1788-1866) was a son of Malcolm Macleod and Catherine Macleod, 7 Old Borrowston.

He married Elizabeth Finlayson from Southern Pairc. Donald and Elizabeth lived at 6 Old Borrowston and they had three children. In the 1850 re-lotting the family obtained 3 Borrowston.
