Margaret  (1850-1893) was the daughter of Kenneth Shaw and Mary MacLeod of Borgh Mhor, Harris. In 1853 the family returned to become cottars on 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill) on Berneray, and then obtained 13 Ruisgarry (Sunhill) in 1864.

Margaret, who was registered as deaf and non-verbal, became a domestic servant. She did not marry
