Uilleam Mhurchaidh Dhomhnuill
William (1811-1897) was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Isabella Mackenzie of 6 Old Back.
He married Margaret Maclennan of 26 Vatisker. The couple were cottars in Old South Tolsta where they had five of their eight children.
In 1851, during the croft re-lotting, the family obtained 1 North Tolsta. In 1856 his father died and his mother died in 1867.
William was widowed in 1895 and died two years later.
