Margaret (born 1887) was the daughter of Mary Graham of 9 North Tolsta, her father is not known. Her mother married John Macdonald of 13b North Tolsta and the family settled as cottars at 9 North Tolsta.
Mary married Torquil Macdonald of 13b North Tolsta. Torquil was her step-father’s son by his first marriage.
The couple settled at 9 New Tolsta; they had no children.
In due course 9 New Tolsta passed to the couple’s half sister Christina Macdonald.
