George (1839-1912) was a son of Malcolm Maciver and Margaret Macleod of 18 Vatisker.

He married Christina Maciver of 25 Old South Tolsta. George and Christina lived at 18 Vatisker and they had 11 children.

The family later moved to Stornoway.
