Catherine (born 1855) was the daughter of John Macleod and Mary Macdonald; the family were cottars at 20 North Tolsta.
At Stornoway, in 1880, she married Norman Macleod of 14 Vatisker. Catherine and Norman were Cottars at 14 Vatisker and they had seven children.
