Mary (1928-2003) was the daughter of Murdo Macleod and Annie Macdonald, of 34 North Tolsta.
Mary married Jack Gilchrist, of Oxton, Berwickshire, and the couple settled at St. Boswells. They had two daughters; Muriel Anne (1955-1972) was killed in a car accident in the Borders.
