92848: Murdo Murray
Murdo (1831-1901) was the son of Angus Murray and Annie Macdonald, of 18 Old North Tolsta.
In 1853, Old North Tolsta was decrofted to form Tolsta Farm, and the family obtained 40 North Tolsta, after the previous occupant lost the croft. It is not certain Murdo was still living in the parental home at this time.
Murdo married Catherine Smith, of Lochs, and the couple settled at 2 Laxdale Lane, Laxdale.
