92963: Norman Mackay
Norman (1898-1977) was the son of Murdo Mackay and Catherine Graham, it is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth.
In 1917, the former occupant of 42 North Tolsta died and the family obtained the croft, however they may have been living there as cottars prior to this.
Norman married Catherine Murray, of 45a North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 45a North Tolsta and had seven children: three girls and four boys.
In due course 45a North Tolsta passed to their grandson. The house has since been demolished.
