93073: Francis Campbell

Frank (1857-1930) was the son of Angus Campbell and Marion Macleod, of 62 North Tolsta.

Frank married Annie Macdonald, of 13 Portnaguran, and the couple settled at 62 North Tolsta and had a daughter.

In 1892 Frank was widowed and his daughter died in infancy. 

Frank married Catherine Murray, of 45 North Tolsta, and they had their first child in 1897. In total they had four children: three boys and a girl. Two of their children died in infancy.

Frank was the skipper of the Solas and the Pride of Tolsta.

Frank was widowed, again, in 1911.

Both of their surviving children emigrated to Canada. So, in due course, 62 North Tolsta passed to Frank’s nephew William.
