93682: John Murray

Iain Alasdair Mhurchaidh

John (born 1864) was the son of Alexander Murray and Catherine Murray of Garrabost.

His mother died in 1872 and his father went on to marry Ann Murray of 21 Branahuie. Thefamily settled at 21 Branahuie and his two half-siblings were born. In 1875 his half-sister died in infancy.

The croft at 21 Branahuie passed to John who did not marry. He lived with his niece, Effie Macleod from 16 Aird.
