Caitriona Alasdair Mhurchaidh
Catherine (1869-1952) was the daughter of Alexander Murray and Catherine Murray of Garrabost. Her mother died in 1872 and her father went on to marry Ann Murray of 21 Branahuie. The family settled at 21 Branahuie and her two half-siblings were born. In 1875 her half-sister died in infancy.
In Glasgow, in 1892, she married James Mason. The couple were cottars at 21 Branahuie and they had no children.
Catherine was widowed in 1947.
