93973: Ann Macleod

Ann (1880-1940) was the daughter of Murdo Macleod and Christina Murray; the family were cottars at 71 North Tolsta. Ann was the eldest child and eight of her siblings died in infancy and childhood.

In 1892 the family moved to 53 Kenneth Street, Stornoway.

In 1915 her brother Torquil died in his early twenties.

Ann never married and died at Kenneth St.
