93985: Alexander Murdo Macleod

Alexander Murdo (born 1900) was the son of Murdo Macleod and Christina Murray of 53 Kenneth Street, Stornoway.

He served in the First World War.

During the Second World War he served in the Merchant Navy, as a fireman/trimmer, and was killed on the 11th of September 1942 when the SS Empire Moonbeam was sunk by two u-boats.
