Murdo (born 1824) was the son of George Macleod and Mary Murray of 3 Old Glen Tolsta.
His father died around 1845.
In 1842, when Old Glen Tolsta was cleared, the family obtained 31 Old South Tolsta.
In 1850 his mother obtained 17 Tong and the family settled there. There is no record of him in the Tong census after 1851.
