Alexander (born 1830) was the son of George Macleod and Mary Murray of 3 Old Glen Tolsta.
In 1842, after Old Glen Tolsta was cleared, the family obtained 31 Old South Tolsta.
His father died around 1845
In 1850 the family moved to 17 Tong. There is no census record of Alexander in Tong after 1851.
