Angus (1866-1950) was a son of Finlay Macritchie and Mary Maciver, 46 Lower Barvas. He was a gardener to Macintosh and Macintosh, Moy Hall, near Inverness.
At Barvas, in 1900, he married Mary Macleod, 14 Lower Barvas. Angus and Mary were cottars at 14 Lower Barvas and they had five children, only four of whom survived.
