9849: John Mackenzie
John (1833-1914) was the son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Christina Mackay of 7 Keose.
In Lochs, in 1858 he married Marion Munro of Gleann Tharmoid, Keose Glebe. The couple settled at 7 Keose and they had seven children. In 1883 the family moved to Keith Street, Stornoway.
John was widowed in 1884 and later married Ann Macdonald of 36 Back. John and Ann settled at 44 Coll and they had four children.
