120992: HMT Osborne Stroud 129377 (ADM3)
The Trawler Osbourne Stroud was built by Alexander Hall & Co Ltd, Aberdeen in 1912 for the Stroud Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Abedeen. She was purchased by the Admiralty in July 1914 and served in the First World War as Minesweeper HMT Osborne Stroud. She was sold to J R Macbeath & Co in 1920.
In December 1939 the Beathwood was requisitioned as an Armed Patrol Vessel. On September 11, 1940 HMT Beathwood, 1 mile east of Montrose, was bombed and sunk with the loss of seven lives.
