1934: 8 Breaclete

In 1851 No 8 Breaclete was occupied by Malcolm Macleod, "Calum Mhurchaidh Thormoid". When Hacklete was re-settled in 1880 the Macleods swapped crofts with the Mackenzie family that had been allocated No 9. The croft has remained with the Mackenzie family since then.
