2550: 1 Geshader
1 Geshader, sitting on a hillside above Carishader, in a position of some isolation from the rest of Geshader, is known as An Gleann Ruadh, as is the glen that stretches behind it up towards Loch Croistean.
The croft was once home to the Geshader shoemaker, Donald Macdonald, who had a workshop near the house.
