The first tenant of this croft was Donald Macleod (b1818), 3 Borrowston. His daughter Marion (b1851) inherited, followed by her son Donald (b1875) who was lost in the Iolaire disaster. The croft was sold to Aulay Macleod, 17 Tolsta Chaolais.
