Roderick Morrison
Roderick, born 1831, was the second son of that name born to Kenneth Morrison and Margaret MacCusbic of Borve. By 1841 the family had moved to Ruisgarry. However, with the re-organisation of the crofts in Ruisgarry during the 1840s, the family emigrated to Fergusons’ Lake in Cape Breton. Roderick married Jane Strachan and they made their home in Framboise.
