121493: Christina Jessie Maclennan

Christina Jessie (born 1934) was a daughter of James Maclennan and Christina Mackay, Isle of Scarp.  Her twin sister, Mary was born in Scarp but as complications set in, her mother was taken by small boat from Scarp and then the road journey to Stornoway. Jessie arrived two days after her twin. She later moved with her parents and siblings to Cravadale on the Harris mainland.

Christina Jessie continued to attend the school in Scarp and then on to Tarbert School. She became a teacher and taught at Torlum School, Benbecula. Jessie married and settled there with her family.
