121487: James Maclennan

James was married to Christina Mackay and they lived on the Isle of Scarp. They later moved to Cravadale on the Harris mainland.
They had five children. There were twins: Mary Peggy was born 13.1.1934 on Scarp. Complications set in and Christina had to make the hazardous journey by small boat from Scarp and then the long road journey to Stornoway. Christina Jessie was born on 15.1.1934 in the Lewis Hospital.

James worked with his brother as gamekeepers on the North Harris Estate.
