Donald (1838-1913) was a son of Murdo Matheson and Mary Macleod, 23 Old Gravir. In the 1852 lotting his widowed mother obtained 13 Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1870, he married Catherine Macleod, 8 Kershader. Donald bought 27 Gravir from the Maclennans and he and Catherine settled there and they had eight children.
