Kate Anna, born in 1922, was a daughter of Malcolm and Mary Macdonald from 24 Tobson/Valasay. During WW2 she served with the Civil Nursing Reserve.She married Finlay Maciver from 7a Breaclete and raised four of a family. During the 1970s she worked as assistant cook in the Bernera primary school.
