43744: Duncan Macdonald
Duncan (1832-1880) was a son of Donald Macdonald and Catherine Mackenzie, 6 Old Orinsay,
His father died in 1839 and when Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 the family lived with Murdo at 15 Crossbost.
The family moved to 6 Crossbost and later to 8 Balallan.
In Lochs, in 1861, he married Catherine Macleod, 7 Balallan. Duncan and Catherine settled at 12 Balallan and they had nine children.
